***Thigpen said Cassanova McKinzy brings a physicalness to the game and he's the big linebacker that Brian VanGorder wants in his defense. Thig said McKinzy made some mistakes and probably should have had 17-18 tackles in a couple of sacks. He said McKinzy is spending extra time in the film room again this week.

***Thig said Jake Holland has been very unselfish helping McKinzy learn the defense and prepare for games. He expects Holland to play more this week with Texas A&M running so many plays.

***Thig called Johnny Manziel the fastest quarterback in college or the NFL. He said they have to contain him and make him throw.

***Thig said Kris Frost should get more playing time this week. They'll need to rest Daren Bates more with the number of plays A&M runs.
