harvey proved the "specialness" of those trees by picking them to poison. I doubt we would be having this dog and pony show if he poisoned a maple by the math building, or one of the hundreds of pines in and around campus.
Today is a great day to love Auburn, a little better than yesterday but not as good as tomorrow.
