Time to face facts

    Here's my opinion:
    I love auburn and graduated in 92....I love auburn for what it is and what it always will be....my parents attended....grandfather taught English for almost 40 yrs in English dept.....blah blah
    But this incessant whining about bama is almost childish...they are better than auburn now....Saban is the top coach in college right now at the top program currently around.....referees and slive do not get together and find ways to make sure Alabama wins games...all of this crying is silly.....if anything, it should make auburn fans resilient....come together and hope the committee or whomever is making the final decision will find a set of coaches who are ready to embrace the challenge.....Alabama can be taken down.....so can Saban...it should make auburn and the rest of the sec want to work that much harder....it can and will be done......

    As much as I hate to say it but you are correct them Bama boy's are the top dog's and until someone take them down and Saban they are there to stay for a long time until Saban finally has enough and retires or unless we hire Petrino sorry had to throw that in there.

  • I agree, it's better to hate on them without whining and crying, even if they are getting all the lucky breaks. There's nothing you can do about, just don't waste your time worrying about that. Last time they went to the NC we won it all immediately afterwards.

  • When I up voted you the result was +13. Personally I expect it to go higher. Right now Au burn has only one way to go, UP. The only question is how fast. If we make the right hire it will go faster but I hope the new coach does more than win more games next year. I want to see a foundation laid that will set us up for continued improvement over the long run. All I know is that Auburn can do it!
