I've been telling y'all since pre-season that uga would not be good. I've continued to warn that Richt's butt was burning. Now, it seems that this is more a question of when than if. I predict that Richt will be out sometime after the regular season. If he makes it to a bowl, it will be his last game. It is a no-brainer that uga will call on Will Muschamp. Conventional wisdom says Will would take the job. He's a true homer, ala Pollock and Stinchcomb in their TV appearances. If Muschamp isn't the man, there will be plenty to choose from. I don't think, after Richt's record breaking police blotter, that a controversial coach will be considered (Leach). Leave that type of scandalous idiocy to the Trojans of USC. The safe bet would be Muschamp. He would be embraced and would provide a happy transition for most armpit fans. If he failed, it would be after at least a two year honeymoon, if not three. Now, if I were the mutts, I'd call Vince Dooley, an Auburn man, and ask him who to hire.

The "Red Panty Curse" continues in Bulldog land. I am in agreeance with the previous post. Richt, as poorly as he has done the last say....three out of four years, he is still a good coach. I don't know what happened in Georgia but there was an obvious shift in disipline and in the way it is happening. Can't say who to blame but my first instinct is to say it starts and the top, flows down from there.

Georgia is still trying to play the "he's a good guy" card and keep in Athens. That won't last forever and when you are firing DC from the NFL every season it doesn't look good. As a defense, you can't have a different scheme every season. You are going to have to commit to the 4/3 or go back. There is no middle ground. Reminds me of the implosion at Auburn with Tubs at the end. Just couldn't get it together. They have the players so it boggles the mind how they can be so bad.
