Tim may or may not be a good guy ... who knows. But some on this board seem to feel that his presence anywhere is a sin. On the sideline? He is an ass. At an alumni function talking to donors? He is an ass. In the football complex? He is an ass. At practice? He is an ass.

Despite the fact that the guy has administrative oversight of football, his presence seems to be very polarizing to some folks, especially on this board. Not to the coaches, players or support staff, mind you. Just to some on this board who have identified him as Enemy No. 1.

I only knew the guy when I was at Auburn and he was the ticket manager. He was always nice to me then and very helpful. I realize that was a long time ago, and that power can change people, but I for the life of me have no idea why Tim Jackson gets so many people so worked up.

He stands so close you'd swear he was gonna start signaling plays in.
