Auburn coach Tony Barbee says he warned his players of what was coming if they didn't change.
If you have to ask why I love Auburn so much...never mind
Hey, that doesn't have to be a terrible thing. Bad.....yes, but not terrible. It's early DECEMBER, after all. I'm sure coach Barbee will use this whipping to teach our guys a few things, and it never hurts for a young and improving team to get a reality check so that they realize there is still much work to be done.
WE COMING . WAR EAGLE !
Do weak teams at the start of competition encourage playing down to the competition? My guess. Yep! Would it be better if Auburn lost half of their early schedule thus finding weakness. And, doesn't recruiting make a good coach smarter and move him into the best coach family? I'm going to watch Coach Barbee and learn something about how a good coach moves up te ladder. Auburn Basketball might be a very interesting experience for the embrio fan.

I know we're young, first game on the road, still catching up on recruiting talent, etc etc, but that was a very, VERY disheartening second half. VERY. But I like Coach Barbee, and the year is still young, and I think he has a good long range plan. I'm hopeful. War Eagle!
This was game was hard to watch. They were outplayed in all apects of the game. Will this team not add 3 players with signifigant talent at the start of the second semester? Maybe that will make a difference.
Rebounding and free throws were the weak links. Plus, we just had a bad shooting night. Ugly game, hopefully a good learning experience.
If you cant be honest....whats the point of being anything?
