If not Kansas, they're playing in Mississippi....I see an occasional from Arizona, but it seems that 85-90% of JuCo players come from Kansas or Mississippi....not sure why he isn't rated higher, but he looks like an SEC Safety....

Regardless of stars...this kid looks like a legit Talon (Spur) in CEJ's Defense! Lots of kids are overlooked because of a lack of stars...JJ Watt, Johnny Football, Sen' Derrick Marks, Darren Bates....just to quickly name a few. I fully trust CEJ & his crew on 'D' to evaluate and make scholarship offers to players that will help us.
Also, look at Devonte Danzey, for some reason, he is only a 3-star, although he is the top OG in all of JuCo! Who knows?

Bates was a 2 star and hard hitter Maybe this guy King is similar and will be coached into a 4-5 star guy? I don't always understand this star rating because when I look at clips of some of these guys they look really good. Must be weighted on skewed stats and size of school?

Why is he listed as an OLB in his bio but noted as a safety in the article? Yes, spur it probably is but what has he been playing? With that size and speed, he would be a terrifying safety to receivers across the middle!
