The Bodda Getta

When one of our DL (from the Columbus area) takes one step and makes contact with the OL and then immediately turns to the center of the field and is one to two yards off the LOS with his back to the OL...like he is dropping into pass coverage...there is a major problem. I see lack of effort and not just this one... there are several others all over the field. When you see both OL and DL in a slow jog, there's a problem. Not playing to the whistle. Here's my complaint...you can't MAKE a player play hard but you CAN decide if he plays.
