Hey bud, I know your frustrated and wanted better. I did too. And so does Barbee.
Don't forget, this guy turned UTEP around as they improved steadily each year. In 2009–10 UTEP made the NCAA Tournament for the first time in five seasons and won their regular season conference title for the first time since the 2003–04 season,
Now I know UTEP is not Auburn. Can it be done at Auburn? Sure. Sonny Smith did it and so did Cliff Ellis. Can it be done consistently and without us being put on probation? Absolutely.
Barbee's 5 SEC wins this year was better than half of Lebo's seasons on the Plains (Lebo's SEC win totals went 4, 4, 7, 4, 10, and 6) and we still have the SEC tournament to play.
AUFAN89, you have ever right to be disappointed. You have ever right to be frustrated. And you have every right to question the direction of the program. And I also know that reasonable minds can differ (assuming I reasonable, right) so I'm not going to tell you how to feel and that you're wrong for not agreeing with me. I just don't want you to lose hope altogether.
And if it turns out we're better next year than we are this year, you won't hear "I told you so" from me. You'll simply hear "War Eagle" and you can give one right back to me.
War Eagle to you and everyone else!

They have improved; but, they will have to improve much more to be competitive in the SEC. The fundamentals of good BB are just not there yet. I really like the looks of some of these new recruits. Let's hope for less injuries and better behavior next year. If we have really improved, we won't be 1 and done in the SEC this year.
