Dales Pale Ale
Dales Pale Ale is brewed by the Oskar Blues Brewery in Lyons Colorado. Brewery founder and president is Dale Katechis, who grew up in the Quad-Cities areaof Alabama and graduated from Auburn in the late 80's with a degree in Finance. He said he developed Dales ale Ale while he was student at Auburn.
Even before I knew this, DPA was one of my favorite beers
After the NCG I went to a pub in the entertainment village next to the stadium. With everyone celebrating I found my way to the bar and ordered a DPA. The guy standing next to me asked if like DPA. I responded that it was one of my favorites. The then told me it was brewed by an Auburn grad. At first I didn't believe him, then he said "That's Dale standing right there". I went over and introduced myself and sure enough it was him. He attended the game with a few of his high school and college buddies.

Found this on the net.... I think I have a new favorite beer!!!
"It all started in Alabama in the late '80s, when Mr. Katechis began experimenting with home brews while attending Auburn University. He refined Dale's Pale Ale over the years and began selling it in 1999 in a restaurant he opened in tiny Lyons, Colo."

My line of business and I sell dales along with alot of other brands...He is also a Sigma Chi...They have another brand nmed Gubna named after a guy in Fayetteville, Tn....Another brand used to be named gordans now called G'Knight named after a heroic firefighter in colorado...Oscar blues is one of the fastest growing craft brewies in the US and made the smart move of buying a canning line 2 years ago...Dales also comes in a beutiful red white and blue can..For our company it is number 2 behind Sierra Nevada,,,,They are good people and deserve your support...At 9.99 a 6 pack a little pricey but at 6.9 % ABV, it only takes 2 to 3 to get a good buzz and a great beer....WDE!!!

Great post! Man, you seem to know your beer! While in college I could only afford Falstaff and, I might add, for several years afterward.
