The only thing that chizik has disappointed me in is..........

  • BAD defense for 3 years. I believe he is a great man, a great recruiter, and a good manager of coaches. I believe now we will get there in a year or so on being a good defense, with BVG. I just thought when he was hired that the defense would remain consistently good and be the backbone of our team. Not many coaches have taken over and won a NC in their 2nd year, so he does have that going for him. I think we are headed in the right direction. Thoughts???

    I think that if CGC will let CVG run his style of defense than we will be alright, Which I truely believe that CVG would not be here if that was the case, but from a reliable source CGC had a major part of our offense when CTR was the coord. We will be alright, We just need to get a W under our belt, KF needs to complete some quality passes and defense needs to man up and make tackles. We'll be fine. WDE

    That has been my biggest dissapointment as well. Didn't know what kind of team we would have but I felt sure it would have a great D. Some people blame the hunh offense for the poor performance of the D, and it may be true, but in each of the past three seasons Auburn's opponents have ran more plays than Auburn.

    I still support CGC 100% and believe he will have great teams with a great D.
