Alum. (March 1990) My parents are grads('63) as well as my older sister('86)

Engineering graduate in December, 1964. First, let me say I appreciate every single person who loves, roots for and/or financially supports Auburn University in any way. But let's be honest, until you have lived at Auburn and experienced the joy, the pain and sacrifice of long days and nights trying to obtain that sheep skin, at a place that wraps a warm blanket around you, whether you love sports or not, one cannot truly understand what the sense of being an "Auburn person" means for a lifetime.

Didn't attend.
Had a friend that graduated in mid 70's, he slip me in on his student ticket to see GTech game about 72 or 73...been a fan ever since!
Have a nephew and a few nieces that graduated, my oldest daughter use to attend summer cheerleading camp there...whole family Tiger fans!

Born in 1959...Lived in the country. Cousins in Crestwood showed me the light in 1968.

Single Mother made 75 cents to $1.25 during the sixties and early seventies.
We lived with my Grandmother with limited income. Did not know anyone who knew how to get scholarship money back then. It's a lot easier now. I worked in a Steel Warehouse for thirty years with the same company. My wife has been at Southern Nuclear (Southern Company) for 33 years. She took drafting in high school at the Trade School. She's worked her way up the ladder.

My son was a National Merit Scholarship Winner in 05. He attended Florida and graduated with three degrees and was Cum Laude (sp) and made the Dean's list all four years.
Him and his wife live in Boston where he is teaching and pursuing a PHD from Boston College.

My daughter is currently at Troy working on her Accounting degree and doing good with her grades and enjoying Campus life.

Slinging Steel for thirty years has paid off for me. I could not be any prouder of my kids and my love for Auburn University.

They were raised and still are Auburn Fans.
Just ask them who the biggest fan they know of and they will say, Oh that's easy, my Dad.
