I used to complain about having no shoes until I saw a man who had no feet
Alabama fans love Alabama football
Auburn fans love Auburn University
Never attended Auburn. Fan since the 70's.
"Townes used to say that there's only two kinds of music: the blues and zippity-doo-dah, and this ain't zippity-doo-dah." -Steve Earle
March 1999 I know most AU fans went to Auburn, married in, or had some family graduate from AU at a certain point. Being an AU fan and not attending school there is not like the UAT fans (a strong majority) that didn't attend UAT. I think our fans learn to love Auburn b/c it's Auburn and not b/c of winning football games or a coach (like UAT).
Stay thirsty my friends......
I graduated in May of 1994. There are a lot of good AU people that did not go to AU. I know a guy from NY that moved south and his daughter went to AU. He absolutely loves Auburn and all that it stands for. I would consider him as much an Auburn man as if he attended and graduated from Auburn.
