So, Leoffler has sited in on these two QB's? A couple of days ago he had a bug list of guys to visit before honing in on anyone. Is the QB board still up in the air until Leoffler can make some visits, or is he pretty set on these two as the top guys?

On another note - We have the number 1 prospect in the state in Liner... If we can land Toney out of Huntsville and Smith out of Mobile, I think that will go a long way in, for lack of a batter phrase, "turning the tide" in in-state recruiting. You could also throw in Johnson to that group... EXCITING TIMES!

I know it's way too early, but if you had to guess, how many of these guys do we have a reasonable shot at? Are some of these guys long-shots or are we a legitimate finalist for most if not all? Just curious, trying to manage my expectations early...

No, Loeffler has not set his sights on just two QB's. Loeffler won't make that determination until later this spring. I just included two top ones in this story.

Bateman has a very strong arm and throws with good tempo and accuracy. There are other QB's out there with the same qualities like Shane Morris (Michigan commit), Tyrone Swoopes (Texas commit), Cody Thomas, Christian Hackenberg (Penn State commit), Max Browne (USC commit), Jeremy Johnson, Ryan Buchanan, Hayden Rettig, etc.

Be good if we could swap Bateman for Johnson from that 4 & that'd be great. Pick up Adams & Bell & call it a day from that list
