  • Delta-167 ships out of Sylacauga tomorrow. Two weeks at Camp Shelby and then to Afghanistan. Keep them in ur prayers and thank a soldier when given the chance. They are the reason we rest PEACEFULLY in our homes. HOOOAHHH boys!!!! Come back safe.

  • I'll keep them in my prayers. My wish for them is a safe, quite, boring, and uneventful tour of duty. As one whose last tour ended 38 years ago I know well what they face.
To those who are going, Thank you for your service.

Thank You for your service. I missed Vietnam by three years. When the US pulled out of Saigon I was in the tenth grade. When I graduated HS and when to work in Birmingham there were a lot of Vietnam Vets working in the warehouse. After working over thirty years with them I had only one that would talk to me about it. I understood the silence of so many.
    .
Again Thank You and all of the current & older Vets of all the wars...clap
