    What is TOS?

The other side aka Bammer. The latest is we bought off the NCAA or Obama made them clear Cam under Patriot Act. Now thy're worried the NCAA may cast an eye back toward them, lol. Oh wait NCAA backed off because the FBI ordered them to, seems AU is a front of the Taliban.

Oh my gosh, now that's absolutely hilarious. It still amazes me after hearing or reading about things like this posted on Bammer boards that such a large contingent of their fan base are so compelled to believe that all Auburn fans have got some kind of inferiority complex or obsessive jealousy concerning all of Bammer's myhtical national championships. They also believe that Auburn will absolutely stop at nothing by breaking NCAA, State, and Federal Laws just to rise above Bammer on the gridiron, but they somehow consider Auburn the overly obssesive fan base.

What most Bammer fans, especially the ones around fourty years old and younger, fail to realize about their own tradition concerning all of those national titles is that Bammer didn't even want to lay claim to half of them until rather recently. Somehow a very large portion of their fan base have been brainwashed into believing that because all of those titles are now talked about in their media guides and printed on the back of their t-shirts surely Bammer always laid claim to each one of those heavenly gifts the very moment they fell from the sky. Actually Bammer didn't make any pre-Bryant title claim, roughly half of their titles, until after Wayne Atcheson's book, Faith of the Crimson Tide, which wasn't even published until the 1980's. But by the same line of logic Auburn doesn't have much to be jealous about concerning the mythical national championships because Auburn can already claim eight titles now and hopefully a ninth title this coming January.

    Auburn's Mythical National Championships:
    1910, 1913, 1914, 1957, 1958, 1983, 1993, 2004, 2010 (Coming Soon)

Got 12? Her's how Alabama bumped up it's claim to a dozen national titles Article Link:

  • I truly enjoyed the time that I spent living in Alabama (especially in Auburn while in school), but there are other times, like now, that I am glad to be living away from there. I do not miss the 'Bama fans one bit.

We moved from B'ham to Nashville over six years ago. It's a long trip from NashVegas to Auburn all those fall weekends, let me tell you!

Anyway, for a while, we really missed all the Auburn-Alabama hooha, that is until last year. We were never so glad to live out of state and out of range of the Bama newspaper and TV monopoly as last year.

We are moving back to B'ham sometime during the first half of 2011. At least we're not down there right now during all the goings-on following last weekend. But we will be able to move back to Alabama as a victor! But I've got to say, having satellite radio in the car, AuburnUndercover 24/7 and al.com online means we're listening to Finebaum and reading all about everything anyway, so I guess we're really not too far removed from everything Auburn-Alabama. It just helps not to have to come into contact with it face-to-face on a daily basis for a while yet. catfight
