PM, I am going to have to strongly disagree with you on this one. First of all the game was against New Mexico St, NOT A&M. It might not have changed the game much, but if you remember Reed was wearing former teammate and good friend LaDarious Phillips jersey in honor of him. It was important to him and the Phillips family when he scored that touchdown. No Reed has not blossomed into the great receiver we all thought he would but that touchdown was important to the team, coaching staff, and all the friends and family touched by that tragedy. And every touchdown matters regardless the score. It build up confidence, especially when you haven't lived up to your expectations.
