Something to prove

Wide receiver Travante Stallworth is preparing for his senior season.

  • Travante is a class act. I hope he has a stellar senior season. Everything he says makes me excited about this year. WDE!!!

  • My impresspn is that Stallworth could hve done more last year if our O line had allowed the Q'Backs passing game to br effective. This year our players accoding to player and observer reports are as we predicted months ago, bigger, physically more mature, meaner, and looking for pay back. Stalworth will catch the ball. You have to be comatose not to be excited about the year to come. I hope to see the Q'Backs drop back,. set, and fire to a competent receiver, making the team playing eight in the box and daring Auburn to pass suffer big time.

  • My son and I were talking the other day about Stallworth's great start last year, only to disappear after that. AU49, why did it affect Stallworth so much, and not Emroy Blake. Sure both could have done better with better blocking, but Blake was very productive when playing. It would be great to see Stallworth have a great comeback season this year, especially with it being his senior year. I actually look for the whole team to have that big comeback season that they are working for, in the weight room today, and on gamedays this fall.

  • if you notice for the past 3 years most plays had only one hot receiver. It strated with Adams then Blake. We have had a problem with focusing on one receiver and not checking down often. Hopefully that will change this year.

  • I like the competitiveness in these guys...seems different this year. All these stories seem to be indicative that the voluntary workouts must be having great participation.

No time to look at a second or third receiver
