***Some additional notes on Hutcherson...

  • Hutcherson said he spoke to Zeke Pike earlier this week and they both promised each other they would commit to Auburn this week back-to-back. He said he thinks of Pike as a brother.

    Hutcherson said he won't visit other schools and he's 100 percent committed.

    As he's said many times before, Auburn is his dream school and he said this was a special moment for him today.

    Hutcherson said he was going to work with Pike and Auburn's other commits to build the nation's No. 1 class.

    I think he could eventually develop into an SEC tight end. If not, he certainly has the ability and potential to play DL or OL.

    How do recruits bond like this when they live so far apart? Did these guys attend camps together? Did they visit Auburn several time together and become friends? Interesting that that level of a bond could form in a short time and over such a long distance. I guess the pressures of college recruiting.
