I've said all along , we need taller , with ball skills similar to those a good basketball guard has. We need players are comfortable in space , when the balls in the air. One on one basketball drills are a great way to build ball skills for a corner. We can talk about this all day , but what I'm looking forward to is seeing these guys after this staff gets a chance to coach them up.

Football today is certainly a big boys game but I hope we don't get too carried away with size. You can't pass on a "player" just b/c he may be 5'11" instead of 6' or 6'1". Prolly preaching to the choir or stating the obvious but sometimes you have to take what these coaches say with a grain of salt. If we can get the "playa" that fits our mold then great but every now and again that special guy comes along that doesn't. I hate passing on those cause they always seem to come back and bite us.

I agree with your concept here, but I think we are OK. Smith quoted that Harbison "wouldn't take too many little corners". To me, that says he isn't going to rule out EVERY small corner, but they will be very selective when it comes to the smaller players. I think this is the right blend. Look for bigger guys, but, if we find a smaller guy that can flat play (a la Derrell Green), we won't sleep on him.

I like the idea of bigger corners - we've been kind of 'short' in that area, if you catch my drift. Those long, tall receivers were catching too many passes over our little guys. Looks like we're going to change our focus for the better. One problem I see, though - looks like CMS found one of CGC's old jackets laying around and picked it up. That style needs to find the dumpster, at least IMHO! Get 'em, coach! WDE!!
