I love that he is putting his irritation with MSU right out in public. This will be the best way for Auburn to get out of the headlines and MSU to slide into their rightful place....ticking across espn all day.
I guess I am a pessimist and victim of my profession as well. I do sense that Slive is pissed at MSU for not following protocol, but, he clearly avoids any indication that there will be consequences to follow. He further distances the SEC from the process and from what is now being termed Auburn's decision to play Cam. This is better than no comment at all, but, far from a thumbs up for Auburn or Cam. I do really like the fact that he is focusing on the facts and urging the others to do the same, including the source. I sense that if this matter would have been handled inside the SEC it either would have been handled before the season started or after it ended. There is no way the conference or anyone else (other than the evil ones) wanted to have to address all this midseason. I sensed and share Slive's profound sadness for Auburn, Cam and the SEC as a whole. This should be a jubilant time for all of us instead of a time of dark uncertainty. Can't way till kickoff tomorrow. I for one am going to turn down the sound and just enjoy the amazing effort that is our team. Last home game for our seniors!!
I belive in Auburn, and love it! War Eagle every day!
It's a new day in Auburn football!
How long until this story shifts away from Auburn and Cam? Are we gonna have to endure two more weeks of this? Will it be over by the championship game? Or will it become something like the Reggie Bush saga which finally ends years after he left the university? It just feels like the FBI / NCAA are letting Cam and Auburn twist inn the wind in order to keep their investigation going? My question is how long do you think we may be in this position, seemingly under order not to defend ourselves?
Well I guess it is safe to say that Kenny Rodgers is not a hmmm how to say this I'll be nice very ethical person. I know he has been referred to in the past as a runner for agents, but what exactly is that?? His son was recruited a few years ago if I remember right. I bet that would be interesting to look into.
Ron please just tell us this. When u say bigger is that gonna be bad for Auburn or someone else? As far as u believe are we in the clear? Does anyone know when Newton Sr admitted it to Auburn or the NCAA
Fearless And True
My question is that if MSU didn't report to the NCAA then who did? I feel like that is a big key in all this.
