Signing DeRunnya Wilson will be a BIG + in the type of offense

we'll be running. I love the size we will have at the receiver position too. Jaylon Denson 6'3, Sammie Coates 6'2, Ricardo Louis 6'2, and not to mention tight ends CJ Uzomah 6'4, Brandon Fulse 6'4 and Ricky Parker 6'4. This is very important considering opposing team safeties is 6'2 and better. Now I hope on the defensive side of the ball particularly in the secondary we can be bigger as well. I don't know if yall know it or not but we're headed for some kind of signing day in February. WAR EAGLE!

During '10 you could really see how much Malzahn was looking forward to using Shaun Kitchens. Unlike other schemes, he likes a big, powerful body at the slot and smaller guys on the perimeter. He prefers those big guys inside to crack on linebackers and aggressive safeties. The smaller guys help on the speed sweeps.
