BM our attrition is not from players not being able to compete but more from bad luck injuries, grades, flame-outs (personel or legal issues). The 2009 class: QB Tyrick Rollison (grades) would be a RS junior and would be better to deal with an inexperienced OL and a new offense. OL Andre Harris (injuries) would be a RS Junior and after four years in a weight room would be a very powerful guard. Harris Gaston LB (true atttrition) felt others were better than him and transferred. OL Aubrey Phillips (health) would be more competition for the line. RB Dontae Aycock (flame out) would be a power back that this offense needs. RB Brandon Jacobs (chose baseball) big power back. And that's just some of the class of 2009. And this a little sampling of a class that you get when you blow up the coaching staff and have to bring in a new staff. Would hate to see what happens with this current class of commitments. 2010 sign 3 LBs Jesse Curry (true attrition) Jawar White (injuries) Jake Holland (may have needed to RS) but 1 LB out of 2 classes kind explains the luck we have, and LaDarious Owens, maybe the most well develope and muscularily defined football player ever, but couldn't transition from DE to LB and now back at a position where we are more than stacked. The other 3 LBs were rated 3 stars, so stop acting like the coaches took some 5 stars and turned into non tacklers. And the two WRs AGoodwin (speed to burn) a guy that was fast enough to run by a 10 yard cushion. And SKitchens a big possession receiver would be another target and competition for TReed. Still feel if receivers have problems getting off line put someone in motion and run route from that (The pros do that). 2011 class I would say maybe the LM that were RS should have played last year Westerman, and Robinson and TRiley (transferred to GA Tech). Would help eliminate that inexperience line problem. Considering that Mack from 2010 is out (personel/injury). If Westerman and Robinson do develop I doubt they stay the full 4 years. Mike Dyer was great, and a guy when he first arrived but he's gone and we still should have a stable of backs that can get it done (OMAC, TMason, Mike Blakely, and Corey Grant (God loves, speed kills). Can we run them since we are suppose to be a running team.

BM, just based on my very limited ability coaching middle school, physical conditioning, and coaching get you beat in the 4th quarter. Do you think there is a major problem with strength training and condition at Auburn? I thought Cory Grant said UA program is much tougher than AU's.

People seem to also forget that two players were murdered at the start of the summer that caused one potential starting OL to leave the team, Eric Mac. Not to mention, what this could have done to the mental makeup of a team trying to learn new systems. I hope these guys keep fighting. They are going through a lot right now.
