Listen, why is it so hard for some of you people to speak in confidence?? Even if you think we have no chance, show some swaaaaaggggggaaaaaa!!!!!!! Do you not understand that because of posts like this, recruits have been saying that Auburn fans have no swag. That doesn't help us at all, and for people like me who like to look on the bright side and stay positive, it sucks because it ruins it for us. What have these coaches done to make you so inconfident???? As the great Chris Farley would say, "for the love of God!!!!!!" (yelling!!!!!!) show some swag!!!! Come on people, we're Auburn fans!!!!! WAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRF EAGLE, HEYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!

There's a difference in Swagger and claiming every kid is going to Auburn to only look like an idiot every time we miss. There have been no good vibes surrounding Armstead since he left. No one close to the program is expecting him to pick AU today so im not getting my hopes up. That has nothing to do with swag.

how can we be shocked if we expect the number 1 class? People want "swagger" and expecting the number 1 class meets that. the downside to having "swagger" is that either you meet that goal or you are disappointed. The coaches can't shock you by doing better than expected.

While a number 1 class looks great on paper, top 5 is all basically the same. In fact, a top 5 class can be far better for a program than a number 1 class if the top 5 meets your needs and fills your needs.

Notre Dame got top five classes for several consecutive years and only had winning records because they place a weak schedule year in and year out. Recruiting ranking are way over-rated....

so would you say that Bama having number 1 classes for 3-4 straight years had anything to do with them winning 2 NC's in 3 years?

Plays part but their coaching on their defensive side of the ball has more to do with it than top 3 classes.
