Seeing how this class panned out...

  • Dee Liner is without a doubt the most important recruit for us next year. We signed a solid class, but we whiffed on the def. line this year w/ only 2 signees.

    I don't care if we get the No. 1 QB, RB, CB, S, whatever next year. You build championship teams from the inside out, and depth on both lines is crucial. Liner is one of the country's top players from within the state at a position of need. We have to make him a priority.

  • we have 1 redshirt DL this year and signed one today. look 4 years down the road and we are right back where we are now. We would have 1 senior and 1 junior and hopefully a bunch of underclassmen

  • Not a total whiff ( I'm sure Nero and Gimal might argu that point with you ). We have I think 7 DT's returning next year and only one of those is a senior. Five of whom got a great deal of experience and we have equal depth at DE. Now I agree with you we need several DE's and DT's every class and yes Liner is extremely important for next year but I still wouldn't call this a whiff - WDE

    Signing only 2 linemen in a class in the SEC is a whiff, period.

  • It seems like every update Bryan does on the 2013 recruits always contains a new 4 star DT that is interested in auburn. Hopefully we can cash in on 2 stud DT's and 2 stud DE's.
