1, 2 or 4, but definitely love 2.
#4 for me.

Alright, I'm with you fellers, War Eagle!!!!!!!!
They actually would all be pretty good options. Kudos to the folks that worked hard on this. Well done!
Options 1 & 2 are more traditional, which I like. I actually like the idea of an arch in Option 3, but the entrance to Samford walkway appears stunted, and less accommodating. Number 4 is more open, but it seems a little less inviting. Perhaps adding another tree to option 4 would make it seem cozier.
But what do I know?? I know I love Auburn! WAR EAGLE!!

#4 for me
Of the four, #2 looks the initially most promising.
The gates should remain where they are -- pushing them back into the park makes them irrellevant. They should be easily viewable from vehicles driving by to clearly mark the beginning of the campus.
In addition to this concern, I don't like the tree-lined walk that is part of proposal #4. While such paths are very pretty, all of these plans are too Samford-centric for my taste. Obviously, Samford is an amazing building, but Hargis Hall is also beautiful and compliments Samford nicely. But putting two rows of trees in front of Hargis, this only guarantees that this beautiful building will be completely obscurred over time as the trees get taller.
If Auburn is serious about improving Samford Park, the very first thing that should be done is that Biggin Hall should be imploded. It is not only one of the uglier buildings on campus, but all the weirdo art crap hanging in the windows and sitting outside on the grass does nothing to improve it. Moving the art department elsewhere would improve the entire campus and provide plenty of space for either an attractive engineering building or some sort of plaza like they seem to want to build.
Anybody know where the survey is located?

#2 most definitely. The other concepts are nothing but a parking lot with foliage.
