Wisconsin played in the Hall of Fame Bowl in Birmingham in 1984. Before I had children my Mother and I attended all the Auburn games and the bowl games in B'ham.

Wisconsin LOST to Kentucky 20-19. When the game was over I noticed the band at the far end heading toward the WIS fans. Our tickets were in their section. We started to leave and a elderly couple said, don't go, the party is about to begin. The guys and the girls on the field would fall to the ground rolling and jumping around. Then the would grab their instruments and play that Beer tune and then all the fans would say, "When you say Wisssssconsin...You said it all". I asked the gentlemen what would happen if they had won? He said the same thing, it about participating and having a good time.

We sang that Beer tune I know forty or fifty times.
Those were the days.
Where have all the sportsmanship gone?
$$$$$ MONEY $$$$$ and Power.

I know this is heresy to post this, but I think Colorado's Ralphie running across the field is the best. The war eagle flying over the stadium is second. And just a note-the war eagle should be a golden eagle not a bald eagle. Never the same when the bald eagle flies as when the golden flies. JMHO.
