It just seems like they can never get it together

For you that think we have talent.....I seriously doubt we have over 1 player who could even start at Bama, much less Florida and the good teams. I'm about ready to throw in the towel. Losing year after year with no improvement is getting old fast. I don't have the answer.

Paws is owning the state in recruiting and doing well regionally and nationally. Had some bad luck last year losing one of top pitchers in SEC down the stretch to injury. He also had a highly rated bat in Alvord totally bomb out. Another top arm that threw mid 90s got lost fall 2011l. Barbee doesn't recruit at Paws level and has had far less crucial injuries. Heck at least Paws is close to postseason when he misses. Not to mention Paws has an SEC title under his belt and holds school records for SEC wins in a season. He's got minimum two years in my book regardless of outcome this year unless we totally tank it ala Chiz

I agree that continuing to lose in basketball is frustrating but compared to most SEC teams we are still suffering from a talent gap. I believe that Barbee is a good coach and knows how to "coach up" players. I think he has proven that with Chubb, Payne, and Denson. None of these were even a 3 star but they have become very solid for most of the time. Most of this team is too inconsistant but that is what you can expect when we don't have good talent. The thing that we lack the most at this time is experienced top talent. Price and Johnson were 4 star recruits and I think they will be very good before it is over. What concerns me the most is that for next year we have 3 signed but none are 4 star or above. I think we can be better next year but without Frankie that is by no means certain.
