I would love to have TJ, but I think the family and the pitch that he was their only Def Tackle they recruited has to be pretty compelling. Lets hope his teammates have more sway and bring him to Auburn!! WDE!
Johnson was joined on his visit by his mom and his younger siblings. He noted over the weekend it was his first time to see his mom in two years.
"They told me I was the only defensive tackle they recruited this year - in high school or junior college," said Johnson. "The coaches talked to me about how important I am to their class and how much they need my leadership. They let me know how special I was to them and that meant a lot to me."

It feels great to be so confident in the direction of the program and the men running it that seeing other schools jump out with early commits when we have 0 doesn't concern me in the slightest.

2013 signing day and now we are on to 2014. Wow.

Auburn is in the mix for some great talent in 2014. Seeing so many commit early shouldn't cause us any heartburn. If this past cycle was any indication, the staff will get it done with the right talent and put us back near the top again. I do love to hear about who is visiting and keep up with the commits. It keeps life interesting during these dark days when there is no football to watch. WDE

Guys, don't worry. There are a lot of twist and turns, ups and downs before February 2014. The ones signing this early, usually flip before it's over with. If we win and show we have a great future, the commits will come and they will STICK!!!

Not really worried about 2014 yet... most of these committed after attending a schools junior day. We have ours this weekend with a lot of great prospects coming in. That -0- will probably change after that. Not worried at this point anyway, we have a long way to go until NSD and as we all know a LOT will change between now and then. I have faith in our coaches to "get 'er done"!! WDE
