It's not too late for him to see the light though. He will be in Auburn the next few days, and I'd say there's a decent chance he will end up staying in Auburn come Wednesday. That's a gut feeling. Don't go bash him on twitter, the guy is clearly confused. He is letting one bad incident decide his future as a player in Auburn.
