2:10 pm: Foster announced he was committing to Auburn.

2:05 pm: About to start...

1:57 pm: More people are showing up I estimate a crowd of more than 60 right now. Blaise Taylor and a few more teammates just showed up.

1:45 pm: I'm expecting Reuben to make an announcement but not take questions at this time. We should be able to catch up with him later today for an in-depth interview.

1:40 pm: There are at least four TV stations and several newspapers and internet sites here and set up for announcement. About 20 minutes from starting.

1:31 pm: Foster has arrived. He's wearing black pants, white shirt and a black vest. His teammate, Cameron Echols-Luper has also arrived.

1:25 pm: I'm here set up in the cafeteria room for the press conference. There is a table in front with Auburn High School helmets and jerseys on it. Lots of media already here. Coach Carter and several Auburn HS assistants are here. Haven't seen Reuben yet.

12:53 pm: I’m leaving for Auburn High School right now and will have more updates as soon as I arrive. The press conference is set to begin at 2 pm in the school cafeteria.

I'm not so sure why there must be an "event" to announce a live decision in committing to a program. It just doesn't look right...I'm not comfortable with the pomp. But then again, it's just an opinion.
I hope that he chooses AU at this event, but I hope that he stays humble and doesn't see himself as bigger than life! Youth is fun...so I suppose this is why I feel this way. LMBO!

My guess is UGA given he says he and Tray Mathews are going to play together, plus his home for most of his life has been Ga.
