Remember 1994!

  • ESPN is listing Alabama or LSU in their upcoming discussions right now about who is the best. It reminds me of us against Florida in Gainesville in 1994. The Gators were number 1 in the nation and Bowden's young team was given no chance. I was lucky enough to be there and watch us upset them 36-33! Nobody saw it coming except the players who believed they had a chance to win. We caught a few Gator turnovers and Frank Sanders made a leaping catch with seconds left right in front of the Auburn section for the win. Could the same thing happen today? I say yes!

  • I was there too. In the Auburn section...an amazing game. Great reminder. I feel good about today. Can't explain it...just feel good about our chances. War Eagle.

  • Don't forget the LSU game in 1994, surely no one will ever match Jamie Howard's nightmare performance, but if anyone can come close, then it has to be Jarret "Pick Six" Lee. If he gives us just one pick six today, I think we win. If throws 2 picks, even if not returned for TDs, then I also think we win.
