I had a long and in-depth interview with 4-star OT Menelik Watson from Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, Calif. Watson said he loved Auburn's family atmosphere and the Tigers are his No. 1 school right now.
He plans on going on his January official before making a decision.

In most cases I'd much rather focus on signing HS OLmen than JUCO ones, but this year is an exception. Robinson could be a good one, but is unproven. Sorry, but I think we also need an upgrade from Slade & Sullen. While I hope Robinson & Callahan pan out to be very good players, we need an upgrade at the position. Based on their rankings, Watson & Latu should (but no guarantee) challenge for starting spots.
