***Quick note on Reuben Foster (Updated 4:15 pm)...

4:15 Update: File this under rumor for the time being, but some familiar with the situation are saying that it is/was the AHSAA, and not the NCAA, that is meeting with Reuben Foster and his family regarding his transfer. Again, can't confirm anything at moment. I'm doing radio from 4-6 today and will continue to work on story.

It's pretty routine for the NCAA to enquire about high profile recruits. What's not common is for their meetings with recruits to be tipped off to reporters. I've done some checking and have no reason to believe Auburn has done anything wrong in its recruitment of Reuben Foster.

Thanks Bryan - I was not and am not worried about Reuben or Jovon. I trust Jay Jacobs and Coach Chizik...
What gets me is that Reuben was still committed to Alabama when he transferred to AHS...

A few things to count on besides death and taxes are AU "problems" this time of the year and all of uat players being eligible! I dont believe for one second we were desperate enough or dumb enough to play it underhanded with RF given the circumstances, etc.

Outside of NCAA SOP of inquiring about high profile recruits.......
If NCAA is even remotely investigating the Paige situation, wouldn't the NCAA want to interview multiple UaT recruits that transferred to other high schools to see if there is a pattern? Foster was a UaT commit when he moved from Troup.

OK, Checking in at Auburn reveals little to be concerned about.
How about some checking with the NCAA into why such 'routine' inquiries need to be leaked to the media when the recruit is an Auburn commit?
I'm damned tired of people and orgs taking giant dumps on our university! We're well past 'fightin words' here...
Time for NCAA to clean its own house.
