Officially it became Auburn University in 1960? My grandfather Forestry '49 said they always referred to it as "Auburn" but when I saw pictures from some of their lab work at camps they carved API in a huge log and posed with it.

Did anyone know that Auburn once had a polo team? Two of my great uncles were on the team in 1933. I tried to attach a photo, I hope I did it right. They also had five other brothers to graduate from Auburn which at one time I was told it was the largest single family to graduate from Auburn. (Seven brothers) They were Johnson family. The ones on the polo team were twins,
