Predictions on this season

  • JMO but i can honestly see us having an 11 win season. Were young but im sure we are the same as lsu from last season with so many talentented sophomores, juniors and redshirt freshmen on the depth chart. We might not have many seniors but the few that we do have knows what it takes to win, and from reading all the comments and quotes from the spring, it seems that this team is working extrememly hard and are determined to get back to the NC. With that said, i think that they will get complacent and let one slip away, but will have a very strong season.
Like i said these are JMHO. What are yall thoughts? wareagle

  • Hard to say right now because we all want to have an optimistic opinion of how we will end up, but you never know. No one thought we would end up 14-0 in 2010 as well as no one thought we would end up 8-5 in 2003. Too early to tell exactly, but I think at best 11 wins and a possible BCS birth and at worse 8-5 with another Peach Bowl.

I think 2013 is the year we lay the hammer down. JMO

  • The talent and Potential is there..... The biggest thing will be how these guys progress over the summer when the coaches are absent... If they put in the work to learn the new systems and strive to achieve greatness, the sky will be the limit! DEPTH and TALENT everywhere and now we have arguably one of the best all around coaching staffs in College Football! It is going to be a fun ride and i cant wait! WDE

  • Next season has to more than just wins. If we end up 9 and 3 after the regular season but have lost to arky, lsu and the turds we still will be percieved as 4th best in the West. BUt if we go 9 and 3 and our losses are to clemson, uga and lsu or bama , but beat arky and lsu/turds or perception is 2nd in the west-a team on the rise (albeit losing our last 2 games in the season will hurt that image).

I think they lose to Clemson just because they will have a little more experience/continuity with their coaching staff. Right now they would be big underdogs to Clemson, LSU, Ark, Ala, If they can manage to win one of those, win all of the ones they are supposed to and win a bowl game, they can get to 10 wins. I think that is a tall order. Anything over 9 wins would be over achieving. Hopefully by the end of the year, the new offenses and defenses will be clicking and that will help a lot.
