Shamsid-Deen has a 3.9 GPA and a 1580 on the SAT and is planning on studying business in college.

He appears to be a one star or no stars according to 247. Maybe his lack of height is what took away the potential stars (which is about all we as fans have to go by).
I'm with Aub98, I just hope he can light it up from the outside and HATES to lose. Auburn's best bb teams had guys who refused to lose. That is so important when the average SEC game can go either way late in the game.

Sounds like a good addition, although I wish he were a little taller to shoot over the six-foot point guards! I really do like the way he sounds like a WINNER.

MaxPreps has him rated as a Top 100 player. His AAU coach says he's one of the top 10 players in the nation. I'm sure he's biased, but still quite a compliment.

I like the fact he is very bright in the classroom and evidently a winner on the court. Time will tell on outside shots. A number of great outside shooters in High School don't translate that ability to the college level. Congratulations Tahj!

Averaging 14 per game in his region tells me he must be able to bust it from outside. At 5-10 doubt he was getting those inside the paint.
