Bryan, one would think Auburns staff would want a yes or no from these recruits in the next twelve hours.

Auburn will be working the phones and have a good idea on most, if not all, of the guys over the next two days. They already know on a couple.

I don't believe we are looking to get to 28 we simply can reach that with the number of guys still on our board that are highly enough rated that we wouldn't turn them away. Also if we can trust a kids facebook message (usually not, but this one seems sincere) Marcus Roberson just committed to Auburn.

Bryan, If signing day turns into the ultimate and we get most or all of these guys. What would seem to be the game plan with 28 signatures and only 25 spots? Would we choose to see that some did not qualify academically or do the greyshirt thing? I really personally don't like greyshirting. It basically tells a kid that committed earlier that we're giving a sholly to someone who we think is better so you have to wait unitl next Feb/2012 to sign. Plus you have to pay you fall semester's cost. Tough situation to put someone in......just sayin...

Recruiting is currently in a dead period. That just eliminates face-to-face contact. Schools can still call and email.
