one of the best DC's the business, I would have to say he would fit in anywhere, but there is no chance he leaves lsu to take the same position somewhere else.

No chance he leaves LSU. He's known for his fierce loyalty. Never would've left UT has Kiffen not fired him. That alone screwed UT.

Not all Coordinators are HC material...
He made a lateral move to get to LSU - and LSU is great, but they're not the end-all be-all.
Besides that, $$$ could be a motivator.

According to several sources, he turned down an offer from Tennessee yesterday that would have paid him in excess of $1 million a year. Plus with Dooley on the hot seat, it is very possible that he could have been next in line for the HC position there. I doubt he would turn that down just to leave LSU for Auburn.
