Heath Evans says he saw this collapse in 2011 even though he was only there for a short while for workouts during lockout. I know you aren't able to attend practices. I'm not sure Heath Evans attended practices. How was he able to see these things and "tell none that would listen" where this program was headed. You consistently gave us pieces of information from your man on the inside. Did he ever mention any of the things Evans saw? Or did you not feel comfortable reporting it? It just seems strange that Evans saw it and no one else did, even though Evans was only around for a short while. It seems even stranger that Evans was trying to do what he could to get the word out and yet no reporter or journalist ever reported it. Most reporters have to scarp to get inside scoop. Sounds like Evans was screaming it from the tallest mountain top and no one listened, believed it or thought it was newsworthy. Was Heath exaggerating when he says he was trying to tell and no one would listen? Did you hear these things before now? Just trying to make sense of how we are just now hearing it.

Truth is, given the off the field problems, we should have all seen it coming. Looking back it was pretty obvious there were problems. We, and I include myself, just didn't want to admit it
Understood. I hope my post didn't come across like I was questioning your reporting. I greatly appreciate your reporting style, content and ethics!
