I wouldnt be surprised if Petrino is meeting with them today ..then final decision is tonight. I prefer Petrino but Smart would be a great hire ( but would need hefty buyout for Bama or GA job if they come calling in future)

Three points:
1) that Phillip was able to get this detailed info on the Petrino interview speaks to his connections, trade craft, and professionalism. Well done and thank you Phillip!
2) Anyone who has been involved in an Executive search, regardless of the industry, knows how to keep all aspects highly confidential. Mac certainly has that experience, and I can say with some authority on the subject (not insider info) that the candidate pool was likely large and we are only hearing about 10-20% of the total pool.
3) With a candidate such as Bobby Petrino, a known quantity with prior experience at the employer, both sides would come into the interview extremely prepared and 35 minutes is more than enough time to cover each sides major questions, positions, and overall plan for the job.
