I would think the fact we only took two in 2012 would be appealing to recruits. 2013 is looking like a banner year in the south for defensive linemen. I see us signing a dl class similar to our ol class this year.

Agree. Next year has some talented DLs coming from Southern schools. Some are our top targets. Plus we just offered DE (Smith) from a JC Nat'l Champ team who has ties with AU. Looks like we may be re-tooling the DL next year. I like we only signed a couple of DLs this year. that were AU guys. We should be setting pretty good over the next few years regarding DL. A dominant DL is beautiful thing to watch.

Hey Bryan, thanks for the story on Coach Pelton. After the question I asked you yesterday, I am glad to be able to read this story. I have felt like CP would be a very good line coach and this sheds light on him as an evaluator and recruiter as well. I hated that coach Rocker left, but I think we got a true alum and a very fine man in coach Pelton to take his place. Thanks again for the article and always enjoy the in depth looks and stories from and about the coaching staff members!! WDE
