PM/BM Off-field coach ?

  • What exactly (not talking about the new rules) are the current off-field coaches allowed to do? It looks like can help in the press box, but how are/aren't they allowed to be a part of practice, game day, and even film study?

    Also, has CGM filled up his GA spots yet? If so, who are they?

    I'm sure they'll be involved in film study of prospects and opponents. They'll play a big part in recruiting -- contacting kids and spending time with them when they visit. Some will probably have gameday duties and I'm sure they'll be involved in practice to whatever extent allowed.

    I don't know if Malzahn has hired all of his GA's yet. Once he's done filling all the off-the-field positions, I expect they'll announce all the new hires at once.
