1) IMHO If Dyer works his way back on the team he will be our "go to" running back for the next two years as long as he's healthy and playing the way he has during his first two years. Other backs will get carries and be instrumental in various ways but Dyer will continue to be a major offensive weapon. Good grief, folks, he's on track to break the all time rushing record at Auburn. Remember all the hype surrounding Crowell last year while he was being recruited? Dyer is a better back than him. He's proven himself against the toughest competition in college football the last two years. Most of these other backs that some people are assuming can just take Dyer's place without missing a beat have never even taken one snap in college. I'm afraid we will miss him Saturday night.

2) I don't know if a player can transfer if he's not in good standing with his current university. I don't know if Dyer's indefinite suspension is impacted by that.

3) I really hope Dyer returns and completes his eligibility at Auburn. He's been a special player, a difference maker his first two years and he has a good chance of becoming one of the all-time greats in Auburn history. Auburn will survive without him but it would be best for both if Dyer is able to work his way back on the team and finish his college career at Auburn.
