I thought hiring DC was the most important hire we could get. Not so much because he is a great coach, but because he is a terrific recruiter who stole a lot of players from under Auburn's nose in South Alabama and North Florida. More important, he is one of our own, raised on Auburn football. If we can't get past players to come, who should love Auburn, who can we get?

That is the question. I would have paid him a ton of money - it is that important!

Where is Jay Boulware? His results with special teams was a bright spot for most of the past 3 years. Wonder if there is any chance CGM might bring him back.

I agree 100%. Thanks for all the insight. Question - has Tim Carter's name (Auburn HS HC and ex-AU great) ever been mentioned as a possible coach? Great coach at HS level and also, as I understand, well respected by all and admired by players - including Rueben. What do you think?
