It'll be interesting to see Frazier, and the other qb's battle this spring. Also, hopefully Grant & Blakely have a break out year.

I'm so happy the old staff is gone!
Last year was full of strange coaching decisions and Gene never tried to defend those decisions to the serious fans. When things aren't working an explanation can help with fan support.
Only the foolish support what they don't understand, without questioning. We see where it got them.
Its a new day, indeed.

I just don't see the running backs each getting enough touches to be the impact players we are looking for. You would think Tre Mason is the starter going into sping. Blakely and Grant will be vying for the other spot. There is the new JUCO kid also thrown into the mix. If they sign Green or one of the other top rated RBs he will be in there also. It is a nice problem to have but can they keep them all happy.

We have got to get more production out of Gabe and Angelo this season. Only 24 tackles between the two of them with only 1 sack is not going to cut it.
I've got too much Auburn in me to act like bammer trash.

That blade has two edges Trojan. Only the foolish support the bull not understood. The wise, most think they are the wise, will agree on that. Many of us fail to be ashamed of our opinions and think they are so sagacious when read (and re-read). Some of us laugh at ourselves knowing that we only know a small part of the story while others get pumped believing only what is consistant wih their own beliefs. Chizik was backed until his boneheaded decisions were exposed and we, who supported him for three years fell back in disbelief. Two oh oh nine and 2010 were solid silver. Two eleven's eight wins were outstanding with starters and backups made up of infants. It wasn't until 2012 that Chiziks bone headed decisions became very apparent. Some never having expressesd facts that back their opinions don't believe that.

Phillip - Any insight as to why some of them had such a limited role last season? The three that come to mind most, based on preseason reports, are Kris Frost, Corey Grant and Shon Coleman! For one, I don't understand why Shon wasn't given some playing time as a reward for his 'trials and tribulations'.It's obvious the Oline wasn't overwhelming anyone. And our linebacker play was mediorcre at best, so why not give a talent like Frost some game experience. And Grant with 'world class speed' should have seen more playing time somewhere along the way! Usually the answer falls under the category "the coaches know what's best for the team", but that was obviously NOT the case in 2012!!!
