Phillip about your sore knees, I highly recommend paying a visit to Dr. Greg Carr.
Article: one word, depressing. Lately, after a PM article, I fell a fog of hopelessness role in.
Excellent write up and thanks for putting in such a long day, with plenty of hikes, on bad knees! WDE
Thnx PM. Question, if Barbee loses next year it's obvious he will be fired. So, if we fire him this year, we are putting off signals to potential coaches that we will cut and run, no stability. I have heard this a thousand times. If he loses next year, it's perfectly fine to fire him an all potential coaches say, he had all the time in the world? That sound like BS to me. 3 years of losing and the school reacted to fast, 4 years of losing and he deserves to be fired?
You Marshalls kind of favor, come to think of it.

All Auburn All the Time!

Potential Coaches?????? Phillip noted a fair list of pretty good Auburn basketball coaches that took over three years to jell their programs. Did you ignore that, didn 't believe it, or discard that because it would not support your position re firing the Coach, AD, and President.
I never thought he was very good and never was really impressed with his "ability." Now you can add "motivation" and self discipline to the things about him that underwhelm me.
In a small defense of Sullen, he may not have had any real expectations of an opportunity so hasn't done anything to prepare. It is amazing how quickly things drop if you go cold turkey. When I was playing in college at a DII we had a pro day and seniors that had zero thought of playing further were suddenly running to their dorm to get sweats to go work out with them. He may fall into this case and you know what...he got to go through an NFL pro day, none of the rest of us on this board did. 4 of my team mates did go on to the NFL so that is why we had one.
DAMN RIGHT IT MATTERS !
My soon to be sister-in-law is shaving her head Friday night to raise money for childhood cancer research. She is a RN at a children's hospital and works in the ICU and sees cancer patients all of the time. She's doing this for St. Baldrick's Day. If you're interested in donating or just learning more about the St. Baldrick's foundation, here's Becca's page

I've answered the call to be a hero! I'm having my head shaved to stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer, but more importantly, to raise money to find cures. Please support me with a donation to the St. Baldrick's Foundation. This volunteer-driven charity funds more in childhood cancer research grants than any organization except the U.S. government. Your gift will give hope to infants, children, teens and young adults fighting childhood cancers. So when I ask for your support, I'm really asking you to support these kids. Thank you! "Alabama fans love Alabama football, Auburn fans love Auburn" -- Patrick Fain Dye
I'm certain I could be wrong, but without researching exactly, I'd say the average defensive tackle in the SEC weighs roughly 295-310 lbs standing still. The bench press is not an angry DT trying to run over you to get to your QB or RB, but pounds are pounds. If Sullen couldn't lift a stationary weight more than 3 times, what exactly was he going to do against the likes of Sam Montgomery and John Jenkins?
