Has the world gone crazy? Robbing the Rebels of home runs, hard-working football players and more.
How do these people get power? Who are they? I would like to start seeing their names being put out into the media!
Common sense has taken leave in pubic schools, which is why if at all possible send kids to private schools. I am certain that a eavesdropping busy body in a private school would not have called the cops on that kid, because these schools are run like a private sector organization. The inefficiency of being a government entity is strangling the educational process.
Ever to Conquer!!
There was another article yesterday about a kid who was arrested and could be jailed for 20 for making a rap video that included terms like "terrorist" and "boston bombing". Now granted, that was dumb on his part, should not be tolerated, and an example should be made. but 20 years??. Not only are you going to completely ruin that kid's life, but also waste thousands of taxpayer dollars to sustain him in jail. To top it off, in that same article, one government official said that there is a price for freedom (that one I agree to), and that if they suspect you are a criminal, YOU are going to have to prove you are not. In other words, its no longer "innocent until proven guilty", but more like "guilty until proven innocent".
Tell you what, if these kids were no criminals before, they certainly will be after they come out of jail. And that is just really sad.

Like I've said before, zero tolerance is the biggest bunch of horse s&$t the school system ever installed. Good job over reacting parents and government.
Look, Connecticut and columbine are horrible tragedies but how often does that really happen? Is it really enough that Marshall law has to be called for all schools? Home grown or international, no matter who or where it comes from, terrorism has crippled this country with fear. And the dumbasses in power have created laws that sadly put that fear on display everyday.
Oh and the news. Those guys are to blame as well. Too much doom and gloom. Helps perpetuate the fear. Them and the government are just out of control "This airport is in an orange threat level. We are at a high level for terrorist attack..." Will it ever go lower? Because tons of planes are high jacked everyday and crashed into buildings or flown to Cuba. Watch out everyone, Their everywhere!
And now they wanna take OUR guns away? Completely out of control....

We as a society have tried to create all these rules and regulations, and have become so specific, trying to make sure there no loop holes, that we have taken out human reasoning out of the decision process when it comes to being guilty.
In certain areas of the country, I'm sure that having a weapon for recreational purposes, like skeet shooting, would not be a normal occurrrance. Or hunting before school would not be a normal occurrance. But in many areas of the country these are acceptable traditions handed down for generations. That would make a much more plausable story and should be considered. We have taken any such reasoning out of the hands of police or governing officials. It would be my hope that a resonable attorney and jury would see these things in the end and make the correct decisions. It's a shame that the front line officers could not make the decisons themselves and keep the costs and stress levels low for all involved.. We are a country that has gone too far to take the logical reasoning out of decision making process.
Our founding fathers did a pretty good job when they laid out the rules and ammendments. And we did a pretty good job of tweaking those over the next 200 years. The reason they did such a good job is that the laws were written in such a way as to not restrict individuality or peoples rights. We have become too controlling in our rule making, and have taken away the reasoning ability of the police and the local governing officials, while trying to take away our rights.
It is indeed a crazy and messed up country. But we have done it to ourselves.
Quite a shame what we have allowed to be done to a once great nation.
