Sir Charles had a huge personality on the court but he had respect for other players and the refs. Barkley was funny. This guy has issues and they will catch up with him again.

We all thought Yoxall had the boys in the best shape possible, but we found out the opposite was closer to true. We shall see how this goes.

The guys won't be getting drunk during the season if workouts are that hard. You just can't do both very often.

Last season, the forth quarters told a story much different than what was coming out in the pages of sporting news. This coming season should tell a different story, one about the opponents defense sagging in the forth quarter. Why? The S and C coach is performing already and maybe the sport writing world learned the same lesson the fans learned during the terrible ordeal of 2012. Performance tells a story somewhat diffrerent from imagination, and paying attention to what is really going on in the gym has value. The 2012 season may have taught all of us including those who we believe because the are no other news sources. We need a very bright light turned in the direction of the gym until the start of fall practice.

It was the second NC in my lifetime, but let's get real Cam and Gus made the NC possible despite having a sorry excuse for a head coach like Chizik .thank God he is but a bad memory with a huge payout, thanks JJ.........

How did Tennessee get themselves into such a financial mess? I know that ticket sales have been down, but that doesn't account for $200 million. Maybe someone could write an article comparing the finances of each SEC school. It would be interesting to see how Auburn as doing. There seems to be an awful lot of money flying around, especially in the area of facilities improvements. It would be interesting to see how different universities treat these expenses. Are they paid by athletic departments or from other funding items in the schools' budgets? State schools are government operations, except for Vanderbilt. That information should be public, but I'll bet like eveything else government, it would take some serious digging. A good time to research that is during the quiet period between NSD and spring practice. Huh, Phillip? Please.
