PM, I understand that if an offense runs 80-90 plays a game that hopefully the score will be higher. However, the goal of a defense is 3 and out. If that occurs on a regular basic, wouldn't the defense doing their job and keeping the score on the opposite side down? Also, if the defense is consistently going 3 and out, they won't be on the field as long and shouldn't tire out later in the game, especially with rotation.
